Sarah Dahl Watts is a Phoenix, Arizona based artist whose vibrant botanical paintings explore themes of becoming, transformation, and quiet metamorphosis. Inspired by the resilience and beauty found in nature, her work invites viewers to reflect on seasons of growth, renewal, and the courage to embrace change.

Before dedicating herself fully to painting, Sarah spent three decades as a floral designer, creating artful celebrations with flowers throughout the Southwest. Her lifelong love of botanical forms, color, and composition continues to shape her work today.

Born in Minnesota and having lived throughout the American Southwest, Arizona, California, Texas, and Mexico, Sarah draws inspiration from the rich visual traditions of botanical folk art, vibrant textiles, and the desert landscape. These influences are woven into paintings that celebrate both the natural world and the transformative journey of becoming.

Sarah currently paints from her home studio in Phoenix, where she is creating her first large scale collection, Emergence, a body of work asking us to see ourselves in nature's seasons of renewal, resilience, and the beauty that unfolds in life's transformations.
